Residential Support Workers are responsible for the development of a homelike, comfortable and normative environment in the residential setting. The Residential Support Worker is responsible for the creation of opportunities for each person to develop to the fullest extent of his/her abilities and desire. A residential Support Worker will establish and maintain a warm and personal relationship with each individual living in the residence and encourage the active participation of parents, siblings and friends in each person’s life.
Qualifications:
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Current First Aid/CPR is a requirement
- Criminal record check required
- Class 4 license or to be obtained it within (6) months of hire
